Student Exchange Program at Fukui University, Japan Spring Semester 2025
The Office of Foreign Affairs announces the selection of students to participate in the Spring 2025 exchange program at Fukui University (UF) , Japan, specifically as follows:

- Number: 3 students
- Exchange period: 1 semester or 2 semesters, starting from semester II of the 2024-2025 school year
- Curriculum: in Japanese or English. Students can refer to the Faculty’s curriculum on the school’s website to choose suitable subjects.

1.Conditions:
- Currently a 3rd year student or above (for Japanese Studies) or a 2nd year student or above (for all other majors);
- Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of the previous school year must be at least 7.7/10.0;
- Foreign language proficiency equivalent to TOEFL PBT/ITP 500/TOEFL iBT 61/TOEIC 600 (for English language program – Program A) or N2 (for Japanese language program – Program B);

Note: All documents must be in English or Japanese. If in Vietnamese, they must be notarized and translated into English or Japanese.
3. Rights and obligations:
a. Benefits:
- 100% tuition and application fee waiver at UF;
- Transcripts are issued upon completion of the program;
- The results of studying abroad are considered for credit transfer back to HUFLIT if they are equivalent to the subjects in the program at HUFLIT. The maximum number of credits transferred is 25% of the total credits in the training program (for example, if the training program consists of 100 credits, the maximum number of credits that can be transferred is 25 credits).
b. Obligations:
- Students are responsible for all expenses incurred during their exchange program at UF;
- Pay the application consultation support fee according to HUFLIT’s regulations;
- Pay tuition fees corresponding to the subjects considered for equivalent recognition before departure;
- Specific information on tuition and fees will be sent after students have their visa .
4. The application process is as follows:
- Faculty informs students
- Eligible students register at the Faculty Office (Students of the Faculty of Oriental Languages and Cultures register at the Link )
- The Faculty sends the nomination list to the Foreign Affairs Department before 4:30 p.m. on October 4, 2024. (the list must clearly state the name, student ID, email, phone number, passport number and time of exchange). If the number of applications is greater than the number of partners required, the Foreign Affairs Department will organize the selection of suitable students and notify the Faculty of the results. Otherwise, the nomination list from the Faculty will be the official list of participants.
- After receiving the official nomination list from HUFLIT, UF will send an email instructing students on how to register online. Students must complete the online registration before 23:59 on October 18, 2024 .
