What matters more is understanding the nature of the discipline, its professional requirements, and the qualities needed to grow in a professional service environment.
Welcome the new school year with Teambuilding Welcoming New Students 2024 – “Connect and Conquer”
If you don’t remember the names and hometowns of your team members, you may have trouble right from the Kick-off Round of the 2024 Freshman Welcome Program – “Connect and Conquer”.
At Gia Dinh Park (Ward 9, Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City), the Faculty of Economics and Finance organized a Teambuilding event to welcome new students in 2024 with the theme “Connect and Conquer” attracting the enthusiastic participation of many new students of the Faculty.
The program is not only a healthy and interesting playground but also an opportunity for new students to be more confident and active in the new environment. This is also an opportunity for you to strengthen your connection, exchange and create memorable moments in your learning and training journey at HUFLIT.
Within the framework of the program, the new students will be randomly divided into teams, with each team distinguished by the color of the ribbon provided by the Organizing Committee. After that, the teams will elect a team leader and together create an impressive slogan for their team. To win the prize from the program, the teams will have to overcome 03 challenging rounds, including: Warm-up Round, Challenge Round and Finish Round.
In the Starting Round , teams will have to remember the names and hometowns of their team members, to help them connect and understand each other better, ready for the journey to conquer the next challenge. This is indeed a difficult challenge, especially for those with “goldfish brains”, because without memory strategies, the whole team will encounter difficulties right from the first steps.
In the Challenge Round , the teams will go through 05 stations, each station has 1 to 2 familiar but dramatic and interesting folk games, such as Puzzle, Balancing, Rolling Ball, Stacking Cups, Find the Difference, Tornado, and Copy and Paste. After each station, to increase the challenge, the team will have to decipher the secret message provided by the Organizing Committee to find the location of the next station. These are not only folk games, but also an opportunity for the teams to show their quick wit, solidarity and fighting spirit of the members.
After overcoming all the challenges at the stations in the Challenge Round, the teams will face the final obstacle in the journey of “Connect And Conquer” called the Finish Round. In this round, the teams will listen to music and have to calculate. Each team will have to solve 05 calculations from easy to difficult given by the Organizing Committee. This is definitely not a simple challenge, because the members must both focus on solving the problem and avoid being distracted by the vibrant music.
Throughout the program, the new students strictly followed the rules and time regulations for each game, showing their excitement and enthusiasm. They not only showed their youth, health and confidence but also showed their strong determination to conquer the challenges with their teammates and win the highest prize of the program. The organizers hope that the new students will always maintain and promote their youthful and enthusiastic spirit to not only complete their studies excellently but also actively train and develop themselves at HUFLIT.
