TÁC GIẢ: Faculty of Foreign Languages
NGÀY: 10/04/2024

To cultivate professional knowledge and skills for students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, on the morning of October 22nd, 2023, the Faculty organized a workshop series for students with the theme “Logistics Major: Challenges and Opportunities”.

Currently, the demand for labor in the field of Logistics is growing rapidly due to the expansion of various economic and service sectors. This creates numerous job opportunities for students but also presents challenges if they fail to grasp their advantages and development opportunities. Therefore, the Faculty of Foreign Languages has invited Master Nguyễn Thái Thanh Tùng – currently a Project Manager in Logistics at Shopee – to share insights and experiences in this field.

At the workshop, the speaker presented the concept of “Logistics” and the difficulties in the logistics industry in Vietnam in a concise and easy-to-understand way. He also provided vivid and intuitive examples to help students easily grasp the information right at the workshop.

Master Nguyen Thai Thanh Tung: Master of Business Administration at Leipzig University, Germany – Former Supply Chain Director at KANE Watch (Netherlands) – Project Manager in Logistics at Shopee

According to the speaker, the logistics industry is currently one of the most competitive fields, so students need to constantly develop themselves to be able to compete in the labor market. In addition to professional knowledge, students need to equip themselves with soft skills such as planning, communication skills, and collaboration skills.

Students actively participated by asking questions to the speaker.

Through his stories and experiences in the field, the speaker also shared some “tips” and valuable lessons. These lessons are not only useful for future work but can also be applied to current studies.

The students took photos with the guest speaker.
