Announcement on Tuition Fee Payment for the 2026–2027 Academic Year

Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology (HUFLIT) announces the tuition payment schedule and fee levels for the 2026–2027 academic year for students of all intakes as follows:

  1. Tuition fee levels:

Tuition is calculated on the number of credits a student registers for in each semester, and the unit price per credit will not increase for any student currently enrolled at the University until they complete their programme according to the standard schedule, specifically:

  • For the 2026 intake: pay tuition as stated in the admission letter, at the following rates:
Political theory, National Defence & Security Education and Physical Education courses VND 1,230,000 per credit
All other courses VND 1,330,000 per credit

For practical courses, the tuition rate is multiplied by a coefficient of 1.5 per credit

  • For students of the 2025 intake and earlier: VND 1,230,000 per credit
  • The credit unit price applies to each student group above regardless of the mode of teaching and learning.
  • For courses with practical credits and the Field Internship course (for students majoring in Teacher Education within the Faculty of Foreign Languages): the tuition unit price per credit is multiplied by a coefficient of 1.5.
  • For Physical Education, the tuition rate equals that of theory courses; National Defence Education is charged at the equivalent of 3 theory credits.
  1. Payment methods:

2.1 Payment through the University payment gateway:

Students pay tuition through the payment gateway by following these steps:

Step 1: Go to: https://e-bills.vn/pay/huflit and enter your student ID in the “Student ID” field, then click “Search” to look up your tuition.

– Step 2: Select the icon of the provider connected to the University payment gateway.

a/ If you choose the QR Pay icon. Select “Pay” => take a screenshot of the QR code, open your banking app on your phone – insert the screenshot and authenticate to complete the payment, or

You may also pay in cash at any bank in Vietnam by clicking “Payment slip”; the screen will display the payment details (shown next to the generated QR code). The payment details are as follows:

Account number and amount: the account number and amount shown on the payment slip

Receiving bank: Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (if you choose the Viet QR icon).

Reference: enter exactly the reference shown on the payment slip

b/ If you choose VNPAY, click the VNPAY icon, select “Pay” => choose the icon of the bank you use or have installed on your device, then log in to complete the payment.

If automatic login is not possible, take a screenshot of the QR code, open your banking app on your phone, choose the QRPAY function, insert the screenshot and authenticate to complete the payment.

2.2 Cash payment at branches and transaction offices of the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank):

Students may visit any Agribank branch or transaction office and request to pay tuition to Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology (HUFLIT) through the payment gateway in cash, following Agribank’s instructions.

(Once payment is completed as described in section 2.1 or 2.2 above, the student account will be cleared immediately. Students may check straight away on the website https://portal.huflit.edu.vn/).

  1. Issuance of tuition invoices to students:

After paying through the University payment gateway, within 5–7 days students should log in to the email account issued by HUFLIT (StudentID@st.huflit.edu.vn) or visit the website https://portal.huflit.edu.vn/ to receive the electronic invoice from the Planning – Finance Office. If the electronic invoice has not arrived by email after that period, students must contact the Planning – Finance Office immediately for verification.

Verification must be requested within 15 days from the date of payment.

  1. Tuition payment deadlines:

– Semester 1: From 1 August 2026 to 11:59 p.m. on 31 August 2026.

– Semesters 2 and 3: The University will announce details during course registration for semesters 2 and 3 of the 2026–2027 academic year.

Students who fail to fulfil their tuition obligations or do not pay on time will: receive an academic warning, be barred from end-of-semester examinations and from undertaking a graduation thesis, be denied internship referrals and certification of related documents, and have conduct points deducted; depending on severity, they may also be suspended or dismissed in accordance with regulations.

  1. Semester 1 tuition deferral:

Students from policy-beneficiary families and students in exceptionally difficult circumstances who cannot pay on time, or cannot pay the full amount required, are requested to apply for a tuition payment extension:

– Step 1: Download the tuition extension application form published on the University website. (https://portal.huflit.edu.vn/News/Detail/3318/Mau-don-Gia-han-dong-hoc-phi-sinh-vien)

– Step 2: Complete all information on the form

– Step 3: Submit the completed form to the Faculty office from the date of this announcement until 20 August 2026. Faculties compile and forward applications to the Political Affairs – Student Affairs Office before 28 August 2026. Students granted an extension must complete payment by 5:00 p.m. on 1 October 2026 at the latest.

Note: A valid extension application must bear the applicant’s signature and local authority certification (including a signature and a round seal in red ink). Students should follow the extension approval results published on the University website.
