A day of experience at The Reverie Saigon Hotel with HUFLIT Tourism and Hospitality tudents

During the visit and experience day, the students had the opportunity to access valuable information about the history, development, facilities, brands, and core values of the hotels. It didn’t stop there; the students also learned about the training and development pathways when working at the hotels, including information about benefits, working hours and rest, reward systems, etc. Additionally, the students were equipped with basic knowledge of appearance standards, personal hygiene, and etiquette when working in the hotel industry.

True to the spirit of an experiential day, the HUFLIT students in the Hospitality Management major also had the chance to participate in a 5-star standard lunch at the Central restaurant in Liberty Central Saigon Centre Hotel. “With the exciting combination of Asian specialties and captivating Western cuisine, and the careful selection of local ingredients by passionate and experienced chefs, each meal will bring extraordinary flavors”, said Ms. Nguyen Hong Tham, HR Director of The Reverie Saigon Hotel, sharing the essence of each meal and the responsibilities of every staff member in providing an enjoyable experience for the guests.

Experiencing the job firsthand with the guidance of the experts from Liberty Central Saigon Centre Hotel will help the students gain a deeper understanding of the tasks and roles of a Hospitality Management specialist.

Through the study tour at The Reverie Saigon Hotel and Liberty Central Saigon Centre, the students gained an overall perspective of the tasks involved and a clearer sense of the importance of combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience. This helped the students to shape their career paths, increase their motivation for learning, and strive for excellence in the future.
