Youth Month 2025 – HUFLIT youth are proud and confident in following the Party

March – Youth Month is an opportunity for the youth of the whole country to awaken their enthusiasm, dedication and creativity. This is a special time for union members and young people to promote their pioneering and volunteering role for the community, contributing to building the homeland and country to become more and more prosperous.

Opening the Youth Month 2025 is the Contest “Learning about Youth Law 2020” posted on the HUFLIT Youth Union – Student Association fanpage, attracting 1,144 students to participate. The contest not only helps raise legal awareness among students but also creates a useful playground, contributing to arousing the spirit of studying and learning the law proactively and creatively among HUFLIT youth .

In addition, in the exciting competitive atmosphere of the Youth Union at all levels at the School, aiming to celebrate the 94th Anniversary of the Founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2025), the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025) and to welcome the Party Congress at all levels, the School Youth Union organized the “Youth Voice – Actions of the Youth Union” Forum for Youth Union – Association officials at all levels in the whole school. This is not only an activity to update information and orient political ideology for Youth Union – Association officials, but also demonstrates the proactive and responsible spirit of HUFLIT youth in joining hands to build the Youth Union organization to be stronger, more practical and closer to union members and students.

In order to educate revolutionary traditions, foster gratitude and spread love for homeland and country among HUFLIT students, the school’s Youth Union organized 3 historical film screenings including: The Scent of Burning Grass, Those Who Write Legends and Saigon Liberation. Each film is a true slice of the heroic past, recreating the great sacrifices of the previous generation – people who devoted their youth to the cause of national liberation and protection of the Fatherland. The film screenings attracted the participation of a large number of union members and youth of the whole school, clearly demonstrating the spirit of gratitude and respect for history of the young generation of HUFLIT for the noble sacrifices, so that today we can live in peace and independence.

Also in March 2025, the School Youth Union organized 3 journeys: “Journey to the source” at the historical site of the Saigon – Gia Dinh Party Committee Base, the special national relic of Dong Khoi (Ben Tre province), “Journey to the historical museum, red address” in the inner city of Ho Chi Minh City and the journey “Ho Chi Minh City – The city I love” at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum – responding to the campaign “Ho Chi Minh City – The city I love” launched by the City Youth Union. These journeys are not only regular sightseeing activities, but also opportunities for HUFLIT union members and youth to feel more deeply about the revolutionary history, arousing national pride and love for the homeland. These are practical activities, creating a bridge between the past and the present, helping the young generation not only learn, but also contribute to preserving and promoting important cultural and historical values.

On the occasion of Youth Month 2025, the School Youth Union organized a visit, offered incense and presented gifts to 03 Movement Mothers in Binh Chanh District. This activity not only expressed the deep gratitude of HUFLIT youth for the invaluable contributions of previous generations, but also added motivation and belief in traditional revolutionary values, contributing to building solidarity in the community.

Next, in order to spread positive messages in the student community, the School Youth Union organized the Photo Contest “HUFLIT Volunteer Moments” , attracting enthusiastic participation from union members and young people with 13,183 approaches and interactions and receiving 175 entries. In addition, the School Youth Union also launched the Communication Campaign “Spreading Good Things – Connecting Love” , associated with the trend “Good Work Day”, through short video clips on the Facebook platform. This campaign has spread positive energy, helping to connect the community, promote the spirit of volunteerism, build and promote human values, and sharing in student life.

Responding to the Peak Activity Day “City Youth join hands to build a clean, green City” associated with the 156th Green Sunday, along with the activities “Youth join hands to build new rural areas”, HUFLIT youth union members and youths coordinated with units to renovate the environmental landscape at Bo De canal connecting Xom Cui canal (Alley 909, Ta Quang Buu street, Ward 5, District 8) and propagate to raise awareness of environmental protection to local people. Not only contributing to improving the living environment, the activity also spread the sense of responsibility and dynamic, positive image of HUFLIT students in the construction of civilized urban areas, green – clean – beautiful rural areas. This is also a clear demonstration of the pioneering role of youth in community and social issues.

In addition to the above activities, the School Youth Union also actively pays attention to accompanying the School’s youth union members and youth through organizing a series of activities to improve digital capacity for students with the theme “Practical AI applications” including 04 topics : “AI applications in work and scientific research”, “AI in presentations and voice”, “AI in music and image creation”, “AI in art and film production”, in the form of a Workshop, helping students equip themselves with knowledge, understand technology applications to be able to apply effectively in study, work and organize the thematic report “Propaganda on Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue in Schools” , providing youth union members and youth with basic knowledge in fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue and escape methods when unexpected incidents and problems occur, attracting 1,045 youth union members and youth to participate.

With the work of building a strong Youth Union and expanding the front of solidarity and gathering young people, the School Youth Union has coordinated with Ly Tu Trong School Youth Union to organize a Youth Union Sympathy Class to foster and equip basic knowledge about the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for students who wish to join the ranks of the Union. Thereby, discovering, nurturing and admitting 100 young people into the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on the occasion of the 94th Anniversary of the Founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2025), towards celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025).

One of the extremely important events in Youth Month 2025 is the Program to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2025) . The program is not only an opportunity to review the glorious journey of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union but also a source of inspiration, urging the young generation of HUFLIT to constantly practice, raise awareness and take action. Thereby, contributing to building an increasingly strong Youth Union organization, affirming the immortal saying of comrade Ly Tu Trong as the truth “The path of youth is only the revolutionary path, there can be no other path” .

On this occasion, the School Youth Union awarded certificates of completion of the Party Awareness Training Course to 15 outstanding members who wished to join the Party. At the same time, it commended 44 “Outstanding HUFLIT Youth Union and Association Officials”, the title is an award from the School Youth Union for exemplary HUFLIT Youth Union and Association officials with outstanding achievements in studying, training, Youth Union work, Association work and youth and student movements of the School.

In addition, during Youth Month 2025, the School Youth Union coordinated with units inside and outside the school to organize many training and entertainment activities for students, while spreading the image of HUFLIT to the community. A typical example is the 2025 “Miss and Mister HUFLIT” Contest with the theme “New Me, New Generation” – a professional beauty pageant, which affirms the bravery and innovative spirit of HUFLIT students, attracting more participation and interest from a large number of students as well as spreading positive effects on social networks. In addition, within the framework of the contest, there are also sideline programs such as “HUFLIT Fashion Show”, Talkshow “Art of management and building public image” and volunteer activities, bringing opportunities for students to learn and develop comprehensively. Next, in collaboration with the School Union on the occasion of International Women’s Day, March 8, 2025, organized a health care activity with a special report on “Prevention of disc herniation and stroke” , attracting 350 staff, lecturers and students to participate. In addition, the School Union also coordinated with the Alumni Association to organize the 2025 Open Four-Hero Football Tournament with the participation of the following teams: HUFLIT Alumni Team, Ho Chi Minh City Police Staff Team (Room PA03), HUFLIT Specialist, Lecturer, Union – Association Officer Team and VNPT Business Center Team Ho Chi Minh City.

Youth Month 2025 has ended with many meaningful, exciting and widespread activities in the HUFLIT student community. Each program, each journey has left its own mark, contributing to fostering beautiful living ideals, sense of responsibility and patriotism for the young generation of HUFLIT. Hopefully, the spirit of Youth Month will continue to spread strongly, becoming a flame that fuels the belief and aspiration to contribute in each young person on the journey of building and developing themselves, for the community and for the Fatherland.
