Professional Skills Seminar Report: “Gotta Talk: Pain & Failure – Ingredients of Success”
On December 27, 2024, at classroom HA0901, Hoc Mon campus, the “Gotta Talk” program was successfully held with the topic “Pain & Failure: Ingredients of Success,” attracting a large number of students.
This is a regular event organized by 7SEC, providing an inspiring conversation space where students can share, discuss, and learn about key elements in overcoming failure and challenges to achieve success.

The topic of the session, “Pain & Failure: Ingredients of Success,” prompted many reflections on the challenges and failures in life. The keynote speaker posed the question: “Are we letting fear block the path to success? Does failure or pain truly hold us back, or are we the ones unwilling to move forward?” As a result, the students engaged in discussions about how to perceive failure, how to face pain, and how to extract valuable lessons from setbacks.

Throughout the program, students not only listened to meaningful insights but also participated in group discussions, exchanging opinions and personal experiences. Each group explored important factors that contribute to success, such as perseverance, the ability to overcome difficulties, and a constant spirit of learning. Interactive games and activities were also organized to create a relaxed atmosphere, encouraging students to open up and confidently share their viewpoints.

The goal of the program was to help students gain a clearer understanding of how to confront failure and pain in life, while equipping them with tools and methods to overcome challenges and move closer to success. The program not only helped students develop their English communication skills but also encouraged them to reflect on their personal development journey, considering how failure can serve as a solid stepping stone towards achieving success.
