Preliminary survey assessing the quality of 3 training programmes at Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology

During its time working at the University, the external assessment team surveyed the training facilities of the 3 programmes, including faculty offices, departmental units and interview rooms serving the official survey; carried out a preliminary check of the self-assessment files and evidence documents; and interviewed those who wrote the self-assessment reports.

At the session, on behalf of the external assessment team, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Sinh introduced the objectives of the preliminary survey and the composition of the team, and pledged that the team would work in accordance with the Center’s principles of “Objectivity – Quality – Transparency – Professionalism” throughout the process. The external assessment team and the University also agreed on the requirements for the evidence to be prepared, the interviewees, the official survey programme and the working principles.

On behalf of the University, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Rector thanked the external assessment team for taking the time to assess the 3 training programmes. The University trusts that the Center’s expert team in the upcoming survey will offer comments and recommendations to help improve the University’s quality assurance work. In addition, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasised that the University would give the team maximum support while ensuring full compliance with Covid-19 prevention regulations during the upcoming official survey days.

The official survey by the external assessment team for the 3 training programmes at Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology was agreed to take place from 23 to 26 February 2022.
