Attending the opening session, on behalf of the Center for Education Accreditation, VNU-HCM were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam – Director of the Center – Team Supervisor, and CEA’s external assessors: Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh – Team Leader, Dr. Huynh Kha Tu – Secretary, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Sinh, Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Hong, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Dai Nghiep, MA. Pham Thi Bich.

On behalf of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology were Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector; MA. Pham Thi Thanh Uyen, Vice Chair of the University Council – Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, Vice Rector; members of the Self-Assessment Council, and representatives of the University’s lecturers and students.
The official survey took place over 5 days, from 4 to 8 July 2023, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology, and comprised the following activities: surveying stakeholders’ opinions; inspecting and surveying the facilities serving the training programmes, such as practice rooms, classrooms and training grounds; studying evidence files and related documents; interviewing and holding discussions with relevant groups inside and outside the University; and working with specialist staff at the functional units.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh, Team Leader, presented a preliminary report on the survey results, offering detailed recommendations for each standard as well as general recommendations for the University to develop plans and solutions for quality improvement, and as a reference for the development direction of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology in the next period.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Rector of the University, extended his deep thanks to the Center for Education Accreditation – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City and the members of the expert team for working with great seriousness and responsibility to successfully complete the official survey assessing the University’s educational quality. He said that the University deeply values and will earnestly take on board the suggestions and recommendations of the expert team so as to continue building on its strengths, address its remaining shortcomings, and set out plans and action programmes to improve the University’s educational quality even more strongly in the coming period…

On this occasion, representatives of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology and of the External Assessment Team signed the minutes completing the official survey serving the external assessment of the educational institution. The official quality assessment report for Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology is expected to be published by the Center for Education Accreditation – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City in August 2023.
