HUFLIT signs with (ISC)² Ho Chi Minh Chapter: Commencing high-quality collaboration in the field of Information Security
On June 9, 2023, HCMC University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology (HUFLIT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with (ISC)² Ho Chi Minh Chapter. This event marks a significant step forward in promoting cooperation and developing high-quality human resources in the fields of Cybersecurity and Information Technology Management.

At the signing ceremony, HUFLIT was honored to welcome Mr. Robert Tran – President of (ISC)² Ho Chi Minh Chapter, Mr. Greg Mazzone – Special Advisor, and the guest from Deloitte Vietnam – Mr. Charlie Chye. Both sides had an intimate exchange before proceeding to sign the Memorandum of Understanding to demonstrate the commitment between HUFLIT and (ISC)² Ho Chi Minh Chapter.

According to the Memorandum of Understanding, HUFLIT and (ISC)² Ho Chi Minh Chapter commit to jointly develop and implement collaborative internship programs for students and exchange information, academic research materials related to Cybersecurity and Information Technology Management. Both parties will also promote the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and materials to enhance the professional and vocational competence of the community members in this field.
Mr. Robert Tran, the leader of (ISC)² Ho Chi Minh Chapter, shared his excitement in collaborating with HUFLIT in developing high-quality human resources in the fields of Cybersecurity and Information Technology Management. He also believes that the combination of specialized knowledge and educational foundation at HUFLIT will bring significant benefits to both students and the expert community of (ISC)².

(ISC)² Ho Chi Minh City Chapter is a member of the global (ISC)² community, a non-profit organization with the aim of promoting the ecosystem of cybersecurity experts in information systems in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam. Their mission includes sharing knowledge, exchanging resources, collaborating on projects, providing and sharing cybersecurity knowledge from leading companies, and updating the latest information on technology, techniques, and other related policies.
