HUFLIT signed with (ISC)² Ho Chi Minh Chapter: Opening quality cooperation in the field of Information Security
On June 9, 2023, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology (HUFLIT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with (ISC)² Ho Chi Minh Chapter. This event marks an important step forward in promoting cooperation and developing high-quality human resources in the fields of Cyber Security and Information Technology Management.
Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages - Information Technology, there were Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Principal; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, Vice Principal; Dr. Nguyen Duc Cuong, Head of Faculty of Information Technology; MSc. Nguyen Thi Thieu, Head of HUFLIT External Relations Department.
Attending the signing ceremony, HUFLIT was honored to welcome Mr. Robert Tran – Chairman of (ISC) 2 Ho Chi Minh Chapter, Mr. Greg Mazzone – Special Advisor and guest from Deloitte Vietnam – Mr. Charlie Chye. The two sides had a friendly exchange before signing the Memorandum of Understanding to demonstrate the connection between HUFLIT and (ISC) 2 Ho Chi Minh Chapter.
Accordingly, HUFLIT and (ISC) ² Ho Chi Minh Chapter commit to jointly develop and implement cooperative activities to develop internship programs for students and provide and exchange information and academic research documents related to Cyber Security and Information Technology Management. The two sides will also promote the exchange of knowledge, experience and documents to improve the professional and technical level of the community members in this field.
Mr. Robert Tran, leader of (ISC)² Ho Chi Minh Chapter, shared his joy in cooperating with Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology in developing high-quality human resources in the fields of Cyber Security and Information Technology Management. He also believes that the combination of HUFLIT’s expertise and educational foundation will bring clear benefits to both students and the professional community of (ISC)².
