Frequently Asked Questions

Please follow these steps in order:

  1. Step 1Open the student portal and click “Đăng nhập” (Log in).
  2. Step 2On the “Đăng nhập” (Log in) screen, click “Quên mật khẩu” (Forgot password).
  3. Step 3On the “Quên mật khẩu” (Forgot password) screen, enter your student ID in “Tên đăng nhập” (Username) and your university email in “Email trường cấp” (University email), which follows the format student-id@st.huflit.edu.vn.
  4. Step 4Click “Đồng ý” (Confirm) so that the system automatically sends a new password to your student email.
  5. Step 5Log in to your student email to get the new password.

Please follow these steps:

  1. Step 1Use your personal email to send your details to support@st.huflit.edu.vn. The details include: student ID, full name, ID card or citizen identification number, your mother’s full name and a contact address for verification. Use this subject line: Hỗ trợ reset mật khẩu email sinh viên (Request to reset the student email password).
  2. Step 2Check the reply email, then go to https://live.com/ to set up the details of your student email such as phone number and secondary email. This strengthens the security of the account and lets you reset the password yourself later through that phone number or secondary email.
Note
  • Keep your email account secure, and always contact the university from your student email address.

Please follow these steps:

  1. Step 1Check whether your university student email still works with your current password. If you can log in to the student email as usual, your MTs account works as usual — STOP HERE. If you cannot log in to the student email with the current password, go to step 2.
  2. Step 2From your personal email, send a request to reset your student email password to support@st.huflit.edu.vn, stating your student ID, full name, ID card or citizen identification number, your mother’s full name and what you need help with. Then go to step 3.
  3. Step 3Log in to your student email with the password that has been reset, then change it to a new password. Then go to step 4.
  4. Step 4Log in to the Microsoft Teams application with the new password from step 3.
Note
  • MTs is a service of your email account. Once you can log in to your student email in a browser, you can use MTs right in that browser: click the “App launcher” icon (top left, next to the university logo), choose Teams and start using it.
  • For any question about using MTs, please contact support@st.huflit.edu.vn.

To make it easier for students to obtain a student certificate, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages - Information Technology announces the online registration procedure for the Student Certificate as follows:

  1. Step 1Log in to the student portal at https://portal.huflit.edu.vn.
  2. Step 2Choose “Xin giấy xác nhận” (Request a certificate) in the “Chức năng trực tuyến” (Online services) menu.
  3. Step 3Choose the type of certificate and the content to be certified as required.
  4. Step 4Choose the pick-up place: “Cơ sở Sư Vạn Hạnh” (Su Van Hanh campus) or “Cơ sở Hóc Môn” (Hoc Mon campus).
  5. Step 5Click “Đăng ký” (Register) to complete the request.

Online issuance of the student certificate applies from 5 September 2022. The time and place to collect the certificate are as follows:

  • Su Van Hanh campus: after 15:00 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week, at the document return box in front of the Office of Political Affairs and Student Services, Hall B, Su Van Hanh campus.
  • Hoc Mon campus: after 15:30 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week, at the Office of Political Affairs and Student Services, Hall A, Hoc Mon campus.
Note
  • You can track the printing progress of the certificate in the status section. If you have registered for a certificate that has not been printed yet, you cannot register another one. (See the attached guide to the online student certificate procedure.)
  • Students are asked to follow the certificate registration procedure seriously. If you do not collect the registered certificate within 30 days from the date it was signed, the university will withdraw the certificate and deduct conduct points under Article 5 of the conduct assessment scale in the most recent semester in which conduct is assessed.
  • This announcement replaces Announcement No. 85/TB-ĐNT dated 12 August 2020 on issuing student certificates through online registration.

  • With the tuition notice issued at the start of every semester, the university attaches a guide to requesting a tuition payment extension.
  • Students from policy-beneficiary families and students in especially difficult circumstances who cannot pay tuition on time, or cannot pay the full amount required, should complete the procedure to request an extension of the tuition payment deadline:
  1. Step 1Download the tuition extension request form published on the university website. (Download the form here)
  2. Step 2Fill in the form completely.
  3. Step 3Submit the completed form to your faculty office within the time stated in the tuition notice. Faculties compile the forms and send them to the Office of Political Affairs and Student Services. The tuition payment may be extended by at most 01 month from the official deadline.
Note
  • A valid extension request must carry the signature of the applicant and the certification of the local authority (including a signature and a round seal in red ink). Students should follow the extension results published on the university website.
  • Students who do not fulfil their tuition obligation or do not pay on time will receive an academic warning, will not be allowed to sit end-of-semester examinations or write a thesis, and will not be recommended for internships or granted certification of related documents; depending on the severity, they may also be suspended or dismissed in accordance with the regulations.
