HUFLIT ORGANISES 2024 PERIODIC HEALTH CHECK-UPS FOR ITS EMPLOYEES

This is also evidence of the University’s commitment to protecting the health of its teaching community, creating favourable conditions for each individual to be happy and healthy on their journey of contribution and development with HUFLIT.

Periodic health check-ups provide an overall picture of health and physical condition, helping employees understand their own health status and from there adjust their nutrition, lifestyle and working habits accordingly, improving productivity and quality of life. In addition, this is also an opportunity for HUFLIT to assess the general physical condition of its employees and, from there, organise sports activities and promote healthy lifestyles, contributing to better work quality and working environment.

The programme was held at the University over two days in the third week of November 2024. If unable to attend as scheduled, staff were arranged a check-up at the Hoa Hao Medical Centre from 23 to 27 November 2024.

In this year’s check-up, HUFLIT organised examinations covering: general examination; haematology tests; advanced lipid, liver and kidney function tests; diagnostic imaging (chest X-ray, abdominal, cardiac and thyroid ultrasound, etc.); electrocardiogram, and more, carried out directly by doctors from the Hoa Hao Medical Centre, together with full and modern medical equipment to best serve the examination work. In addition, staff could register for further screening packages at the programme to save time and be more proactive in caring for their health.

Mr. Le Hong Quang – Specialist at the Department of Political Affairs – Student Affairs shared: “Every year, HUFLIT organises health check-ups for staff, lecturers and employees, helping me understand my health status clearly and feel the University’s deep care. As someone who pays attention to health, I always monitor my body and have received advice from the doctors on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The results are updated the same day via the medical app, giving me complete peace of mind, knowing that my health is always well looked after by the University.”

In addition to organising annual health check-ups, HUFLIT also pays attention to other benefits and policies such as fully providing social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance for employees, visiting them in times of illness and on family occasions, and organising trips and retreats. These policies help employees feel secure in their commitment, contribute and fulfil their duties well, thereby contributing to the University’s sustainable development.
