HUFLIT adds 3 more programmes meeting training quality accreditation standards

Accordingly, the Center for Education Accreditation – VNU-HCM issued decisions and granted Certificates of educational quality accreditation to 3 flagship programmes that HUFLIT has offered since its early days: Information Technology (IT), English Language (EL) and Business Administration (BA).

Internal quality assurance has always been a regular focus of the University and plays an extremely important role in developing training programmes, building and developing a quality culture, and promoting quality assurance across all of the University’s activities. This helps the University devise concrete solutions to improve and raise the quality of governance and administration, and to assure the quality of training, scientific research and community service activities.

Based on the recommendations of the Educational Quality Accreditation Council and of the external assessment team of experts, the University held meetings to draw lessons and rolled out many solutions to address shortcomings, with the aim of maintaining training quality. It can be said that the successes and the persistent efforts of generations at the University over the past 30 years have affirmed the University’s reputation and training tradition in society.

Attending and speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le My Phong – Deputy Director-General in charge of the Quality Management Department – Ministry of Education and Training emphasised that educational quality accreditation is identified as an effective solution for maintaining and improving educational quality. The certification of 3 programmes as meeting programme quality accreditation standards demonstrates clear results in the University’s accreditation and quality assurance work.

The University should continue to build on its strengths and address shortcomings in order to raise training quality further, while continuing accreditation work at all levels within the University to complete its plan that, by 2025, all of the University’s training programmes will have completed self-assessment and met domestic and international accreditation standards.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam, Director of the Center for Education Accreditation – VNU-HCM, expressed her hope that HUFLIT would further raise its training quality in the coming period, continue to strengthen improvement, build training programmes suited to reality, boost the effectiveness of scientific research and international cooperation, and continue striving to maintain and further enhance the University’s quality, reputation and brand, while taking new development steps that affirm HUFLIT’s standing in society.

At HUFLIT, in addition to focusing on innovating and improving training quality, the University always cares for and looks after the lives of its learners. Particularly in this new academic year, the University significantly increased the number of scholarships, with a 2022 – 2023 scholarship fund worth 10 billion VND to encourage and motivate students on their journey to acquire knowledge.

In addition, HUFLIT also allocated 20 million VND from the Thanh Son scholarship fund, founded by Distinguished Teacher Huynh The Cuoc, to support students in difficult circumstances who achieve outstanding academic results.

Also at the 2022 – 2023 academic year opening ceremony, HUFLIT students received care and support from the University’s partner businesses, with total sponsorship worth nearly 1.5 billion VND.
