The Tourism Services & Travel Management programme at HUFLIT provides in-depth training in tour guiding, tour design and operation, promotion and business of tourism services, service management and the development of customer experience in a modern tourism environment. The programme helps students understand culture, tourist behaviour and tourism trends, while also approaching digital technology in service management and operation.
With more than 20 years of training in the tourism – hospitality field together with the strength of more than 30 years in foreign languages and information technology, HUFLIT helps students develop international-communication capacity, service thinking and the ability to adapt in a global multicultural environment.

Developed on a foundation of more than 30 years of application-oriented foreign language training, the programme focuses on teaching the specialisation in English, helping students approach field and specialised knowledge in a modern, internationally integrated way.
With the advantage of both studying the specialisation and integrating the enhancement of academic English and specialised tourism – hospitality – restaurant English throughout the training roadmap, students comprehensively develop international-communication ability, presentation skills, situation-handling and the capacity to work effectively in a multicultural and global tourism environment.

The training programme is built along the “Experiential Learning” orientation, helping students learn through practical experience instead of only approaching theory in class. Practical experiential course units in the tourism – travel specialisation are deployed throughout from year 1 to year 3, an opportunity for students to step by step approach the professional environment, enhance their understanding of routes and destinations, culture, services and real tour-operation activities.
Besides, students regularly take part in route-and-destination survey trips, guiding practice, tour-operation simulation, study tours and observation – internships at tourism, travel and service enterprises to develop career thinking, situation-handling skills and the ability to adapt to a modern service environment.

Core competencies & learning outcomes of the HUFLIT Tourism Services & Travel Management programme
The Tourism Services & Travel Management training programme at HUFLIT is built along an application and international-integration orientation, helping students comprehensively develop the “Foreign language – Technology – Expertise” capacity to adapt to the modern tourism industry and the global labour market.
Students are oriented to develop along two specialisations:
- Tourism and travel service business administration
- Cultural tourism guiding
Through that, learners have the opportunity to choose a career orientation suited to their capacity, interests and the development trends of the modern tourism – service industry.
- Foreign languages – Integration capacity in an international tourism environment
Students are trained in academic English, specialised English and the integrated use of English in specialised course units. After graduation, students reach an English capacity equivalent to level 4 according to the Vietnamese Foreign Language Competency Framework or B2 level (European reference framework), with good communication, presentation and delivery skills and effective situation-handling in a multicultural and international tourism environment.

In 2026, HUFLIT continues to commit to no increase in tuition for the whole course. The tuition applied to students of the 2026 cohort is as follows:
