The Faculty of Economics and Finance at HUFLIT Spreads Academic Spirit Through the Fourth Season of the “Dolphin Intelligence” Competition
Building on the success of previous seasons, the fourth season of the “Dolphin Intelligence” competition, organized by the ABS Economics Club – HUFLIT, continued to affirm its position as a reputable academic platform. The competition plays a vital role in assessing, reinforcing, and enhancing students’ knowledge in economic disciplines—particularly Accounting and Finance—attracting the participation of more than 200 students.
A Notable New Feature of This Season
Unlike the individual competition format used in Round 2 of the previous three seasons, the fourth season of “Dolphin Intelligence” introduced a new approach by grouping contestants into teams to compete together. This change not only continued to foster individual problem-solving abilities and independent thinking, but also emphasized collaboration, teamwork skills, and adaptability in a competitive environment. This approach more closely simulates the real working environment of the Accounting and Finance sector, where professional expertise is closely linked with coordination and decision-making skills.
The competition featured a distinguished judging panel, including M.A. Le Ba Khoi, Deputy Head of the Accounting Division, Faculty of Economics and Finance at HUFLIT; M.A. Vo Dinh Phung, M.A. Van Cap Huy, and M.A. Le Thi Hong Nhung, lecturers of the Faculty of Economics and Finance at HUFLIT; along with Mr. Ha Nhat Tuan, representative of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). The judges provided fair and insightful evaluations, creating opportunities for contestants not only to showcase their abilities but also to enhance the competition’s academic value.
The final round took place in a vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere, drawing the attention of a large number of HUFLIT lecturers and students. Competing teams entered the contest with confidence, composure, and thorough preparation, clearly demonstrating solid professional knowledge and strong logical thinking. Beyond answering questions, the teams also displayed effective teamwork, critical thinking, and flexible problem-solving skills in response to scenarios posed by the judging panel, resulting in dynamic, engaging, and academically rich performances.
Honoring the Outstanding Winning Team
After a series of intense and engaging rounds, the competition identified the top-performing team of the 2025 “Dolphin Intelligence” contest, consisting of students Vo Nguyen Khanh Ny and Ngo Dinh Yen Khang from the Faculty of Economics and Finance, along with Vo Thy Thy and Le Cam Nguyen from the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
This achievement not only recognizes the contestants’ efforts and professional competence but also highlights the effectiveness of the team-based competition format, which encourages interdisciplinary collaboration, cooperation, and mutual learning among students from different faculties.
Beyond assessing academic knowledge, the “Dolphin Intelligence” competition places strong emphasis on career orientation, helping students gain clearer awareness of the skills required to meet labor market demands in the accounting and finance sector. The experiences gained through the competition serve as valuable preparation, enabling HUFLIT students to move forward with greater confidence in their academic pursuits and future career development.
Through this initiative, the Faculty of Economics and Finance at HUFLIT continues to affirm its role as a bridge between academic training and professional practice, accompanying students in developing competence, resilience, and aspirations for integration in the context of digital transformation and globalization.
