Talkshow inspires HUFLITers to confidently step into the world of international events

What Makes a World-Class International Event? The talk show “Beyond Borders – World-Class Event Excellence” gives students the opportunity to decode professional event management processes, master crisis communication skills, and learn how to create a distinctive impact, all shared through the practical insights of experienced experts in the international events and communications industry.

Accompanying and sharing insights with the students was Mr. Tran Viet Bao Hoang, CEO of Unicorp and Unimedia Agency, a familiar face in the entertainment and Beauty Queen industry, with over 10 years of experience organizing and managing major events such as The Amazing Race Vietnam, Vietnam Idol, Star Academy, and notably serving as the Head of Organization for Miss Cosmo Vietnam and the highly successful Miss Cosmo 2024.

The talk show was structured around two main topics: “Aspiration to Reach International Standards” and “The Journey Behind a Successful Event.” In the first part, Mr. Tran Viet Bao Hoang shared in-depth knowledge on organizing and communicating international events in Vietnam. He emphasized the aspiration to showcase Vietnam to the world through globally significant events, inspiring students with a mindset of integration and a strong desire to assert Vietnamese identity on the international stage.

In the next segment, he took the audience behind the scenes of an international event, where everything starts from the planning stage and creative ideas to crisis management and brand imprinting. Through these emotionally rich real-life stories, students not only gained broader perspectives but also learned how to manage resources, cope with pressure, and maintain a pioneering spirit in the events industry. This serves as practical preparation, helping students feel more confident as they step into the global labor market.
