The Faculty of Foreign Languages at HUFLIT “Ignites” the Teaching Profession for Major StudentsRecently, the Faculty of Foreign Languages organized the first professional skills seminar for students in the 2025–2026 academic year under the theme “From the Classroom to the Teaching Podium.” The program was not only a career-sharing session but also opened a profound narrative about the educational journey—exploring choices, commitment, and sustaining passion for the teaching profession in the context of modern education.
Return to childhood with the “Full Moon Festival” Program in 2024
“Happy Mid-Autumn Festival” is an annual volunteer program organized by HUFLIT Volunteer Club (HVC), under the Student Association of the University. This year, the program brings the exciting theme “Moon-Watching Festival” with 3 main activities: Fundraising and Donation Desk; “Moon Season” Festival and “Moon-Watching Festival” Program.
To kick off an energetic “Full Moon Festival” season , the fundraising and donation desk of the HUFLIT Volunteer Club, also known affectionately as “Green House”, was present at Su Van Hanh and Hoc Mon campuses to welcome HUFLIT students to contribute items (pens, pencils, white notebooks, erasers, milk, pencil boxes, etc.) and buy faculty-specific identification lanyards to raise funds, contributing to bringing many gifts to the Mid-Autumn Festival in the “Moon-Watching Festival” program .
Although only in a short time of setting up a desk at 02 facilities, HUFLIT Volunteer Club has received enthusiastic support from the staff, lecturers and students of the School. In total, the Club has received 353 ballpoint pens, 352 blank notebooks, 283 pencils, 90 erasers, 85 rulers, 70 cartons of milk, 65 teddy bears and 60 children’s story books.
In addition, HUFLIT Volunteer Club also announced the profit from selling lanyards and card holders of 3,225,000 VND , along with the amount of 8,050,000 VND from the support of generous donors, benefactors and HUFLIT teachers. In addition, HUFLIT Volunteer Club also deducted 1,000,000 VND from the profit from selling lanyards to send to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support the people of the North to overcome the consequences caused by Typhoon Yagi.
The “Moon-watching Festival” program would not be complete without the lovely, creative lanterns and the colorful, adorable figurines made by HUFLIT students at the “Moon Season” Festival.
The festival took place on August 29, 2024 and received enthusiastic response from the School’s students through the “Moon Festival” to he making workshop with the participation of artisans Dang Van Huong and Pham Tuan and the “Moon Color” lantern creation contest took place in the afternoon of the same day at hall B, Su Van Hanh campus (HUFLIT).
To close a full moon season, HUFLIT Volunteer Club was present at Phong Thanh A Primary School (Hamlet 2, Phong Thanh Commune, Cau Ke District, Tra Vinh Province) on September 14 and 15, 2024. During the program, HVC presented 200 gifts to students, 50 gifts to poor households and 05 bicycles to students in difficult circumstances.
Although the “Green House” was only in the locality for 2 days, those memories will forever be an indelible mark in the hearts of each member of the Volunteer Club in particular and HUFLIT volunteer students in general. The happy smiles of the students are the joy and great motivation for the Club to continue its journey of spreading love to new lands.
Hopefully, HUFLIT Volunteer Club will continue to receive love and care from HUFLIT Teachers and Students and the support and contributions from Philanthropists and sponsors so that the Club can continue to promote the spirit of mutual love and support for those in need of help.
