Pursuant to Decision No. 616/TTg dated October 26, 1994 of the Prime Minister permitting the establishment of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology;
Pursuant to the Law on Higher Education;
Pursuant to Decree No. 99/2019/ND-CP dated December 30, 2019 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law amending and supplementing the Law on Higher Education;
Pursuant to the Regulations on Full-time Student Work of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology issued together with Decision No. 1083/QD-DNT dated September 6, 2022 of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology ;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 16/NQ-HDT dated March 20, 2023 of the School Council, agreeing to grant scholarships equal to 15% of the full course tuition fee for students of the 29th – 2023 course admitted to the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Business Administration and Faculty of Information Technology who choose to study at the Hoc Mon campus throughout the course;
At the request of the Head of the Department of Politics – Student Affairs.
DECISION:
Article 1. Award 902 scholarships to students of course 29 – 2023 in Semester 1, school year 2024 – 2025 with a total value of 2,769,529,500 VND (Two billion seven hundred sixty-nine million five hundred twenty-nine thousand five hundred VND) , students can look up the list HERE .
Article 2. Students who change their study institution during the course will have to refund the value of the scholarship received and will not be able to receive this scholarship in the following semesters.
The decision takes effect from the date of signing.
Article 3. The Heads of the Department of Politics – Student Affairs, Heads of the Department of University Training, Heads of the Department of Planning – Finance, Heads of relevant units and students named in Article 1 are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
