Online exchange between Ewha Womans University (Korea) and HUFLIT students
In mid-August 2021, representatives of Ewha Womans University (Korea) had a sharing session with HUFLIT students about their experiences studying abroad, hunting for scholarships in Korea as well as introducing Ewha Womans University and the scholarship programs at the school. Although taking place on the online Zoom meeting platform, the exchange still attracted a lot of attention from HUFLIT female students. Thanks to the serious listening and enthusiastic interaction from the students, the exchange session proceeded smoothly in a happy and friendly atmosphere.

Through the sharing session, students learned more about the development history, core values and educational spirit of Ewha Womans University – the leading university among women’s universities in Korea and ranked 9th in the national rankings. The speaker herself – Tran Nhu Phuong – is also a former student of the 2017 class at the school. Therefore, in addition to general information on how to find and prepare scholarship applications in Korea, students were also clearly shared “tips” for building a “standard scholarship background” at HUFLIT. Small tips such as “Invest a lot of effort in the subject of Scientific Research Methods to be able to participate in Student Scientific Research or do a good graduation thesis”, or “Be bold to challenge yourself with competitions launched by the School/Faculty” … were received and discussed very positively by students.
Ewha Womans University had hoped to organize a live sharing session so that it would be easier to listen and interact with students. However, due to the COVID-19 epidemic situation, EWHA had to make another appointment at the HUFLIT campus in Ho Chi Minh City, or maybe at the EWHA campus in Korea to send greetings and thanks to all of you.
