Welcoming the delegation of Baekseok University, Korea to work at HUFLIT
On the morning of June 14, 2018, at the campus of 155 Su Van Hanh (extended), Ward 13, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages - Information Technology (HUFLIT) had a reception and worked with representatives from Baekseok University, Korea to exchange and discuss the possibility of cooperation between the two schools.

Representatives of Baekseok University included Prof. Woo Sang Han, Head of the Department of International Cooperation; Prof. Kyung Jik Lee, Head of the Department of Training and Student Affairs; Prof. Junghwan Kim, Director of the Center for International Exchange and other staff of the University. On the side of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages - Information Technology, there were Dr. Nguyen Hong Hai, Assistant to the Principal; Dr. Tran Van Tieng, Head of the Department of Oriental Languages and Cultures; M.A. Nguyen Thi Vinh Tran, Head of the Department of Foreign Affairs – General Affairs – Administration; M.A. Hoang Thi Bich Ngoc, Lecturer of the Korean Language Department and foreign affairs specialists of the University.

Representatives of the two schools discussed the contents that HUFLIT and Baekseok University are interested in cooperating on such as: student exchange, internship programs, exchange of lecturers and postgraduates; exchange of information and educational publications; implementation of joint research projects, organization of conferences, seminars and other activities that the two schools are interested in.

Baekseok University has campuses in two major cities, Cheonan (undergraduate) and Seoul (graduate). This is a private university with about 15,000 students studying both undergraduate and graduate programs. Baekseok University is known to many international students for its modern facilities, convenient location, and is one of the high-quality training institutions in Korea.
