“NEWBEE” FACULTY OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS & COMMUNICATIONS START UNIVERSITY YOUTH WITH A SERIES OF ACTIVITIES “ONCE UPON A TIME”
Recently, the International Relations & Communication Faculty Union organized the International Relations Faculty New Student Connection Day – “FIR – Once Upon a Time” with 3 interesting activities: Check-in Photobooth, Team building and Music Night.
Associated with legendary and magical stories, the theme “Once Upon a Time” was chosen as an invitation for new students to write their own stories, with memorable milestones and memories. Not only does it provide a variety of experiences, it is also an opportunity for new students to meet and interact with new friends, strengthen solidarity and break through their own limits.
Although it was only launched for a short time, the Check-in Photobooth activity at Truong Son campus (HUFLIT) has become a favorite destination for many students. With a photo frame imbued with fairytale colors, the Organizing Committee (OC) hopes to spread the dynamic and joyful image of HUFLITers. This is an opportunity for students to record memorable moments, build new friendships and preserve the innocent and cute images of their university years.
Next, at Gia Dinh Park, a Team building activity took place for new students of the Faculty of International Relations & Communication. During the activity, students had the opportunity to experience a series of physical games and decipher secret messages, requiring solidarity, meticulousness and alertness to complete the challenge. After the activity, the winning team also had the opportunity to receive a prize of a free ticket to the Music Night.
The final leg of the “Once Upon a Time” journey concluded with the Music Night on October 21, 2024. Through special performances such as “Who is the Dreamer?”, “Adventure Through the Nightmare,” “Tea Party,” and “Dream Hill,” the new students were able to admire the story of self-discovery through the character Alice in the movie “Alice In Wonderland.” Also at the music night, the students burned out with eye-catching performances from the two bands Whee! and Mèow Lạc. The performances took the new students through many memorable emotions, concluding the journey of the New Student Connection Day of the Faculty of International Relations – “FIR – Once Upon a Time.”
The organizers hope that the program will be a solid stepping stone, opening a new journey full of joy and discovery for you at HUFLIT. The activities of the International Relations & Communication Faculty Union will be an ideal environment for you to not only develop teamwork skills but also create memorable memories, connect and grow together.
