Student Exchange Program at Jeju National University, South Korea Spring Semester 2025
The Office of Foreign Affairs announces the selection of students to participate in the 2025 Spring semester exchange program at Jeju National University (JNU), Korea, specifically as follows:
- Number: 2 students
- Exchange period: 1 semester or 2 semesters, starting from semester II of the 2024-2025 school year
- Program: in Korean or English.
- Students can refer to detailed information about the school and application form at the Link or scan the QR code.
1.Conditions:
- Currently a 3rd year student or above (for Korean Studies students) or a 2nd year student or above (for all other majors);
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7/4.3 or 8.0/10.0;
- Can communicate in English or Korean;
- Students must open a bank account with a minimum of 8,000,000 KRW (approximately 150,000,000 VND) for a 1-semester exchange period and 16,000,000 KRW (approximately 300,000,000 VND) for a 2-semester exchange period , at least 03 months before the visa application date (around February 2025) and must maintain the balance throughout the application process, at least until the visa is granted. This account can be in the name of the parent/financial sponsor, but must have a household registration/birth certificate to prove the family relationship.

3. Rights and obligations:
a. Benefits:
- 100% tuition and admission fees waiver at JNU;
- Transcripts are issued upon completion of the program;
- The results of studying abroad are considered for credit transfer back to HUFLIT if they are equivalent to the subjects in the program at HUFLIT. The maximum number of credits transferred is 25% of the total credits in the training program (for example, if the training program consists of 100 credits, the maximum number of credits that can be transferred is 25 credits).
b. Obligations:
- Students are responsible for all expenses incurred during the exchange program at JNU;
- Pay the application consultation support fee according to HUFLIT’s regulations;
- Pay tuition fees corresponding to the subjects considered for equivalent recognition before departure;
- Specific information on tuition and fees will be sent after students have their visa .
4. The application process is as follows:
- Faculty informs students
- Eligible students register at the Faculty Office (students of the Faculty of Oriental Languages & Cultures register at the Link )
- The Faculty sends the nomination list to the Foreign Affairs Department before 16:30 on October 28, 2024 (the list must clearly state the name, student ID, email, phone number, passport number and time of exchange). If the number of applications is greater than the number of partners required, the Foreign Affairs Department will organize the selection of suitable students and notify the Faculty of the results. Otherwise, the nomination list from the Faculty will be the official list of participants.
- After being informed by the Faculty about the admission, students must submit complete documents to the Foreign Affairs Office before 4:30 p.m. on November 14, 2024 .
