The Faculty of Foreign Languages at HUFLIT “Ignites” the Teaching Profession for Major StudentsRecently, the Faculty of Foreign Languages organized the first professional skills seminar for students in the 2025–2026 academic year under the theme “From the Classroom to the Teaching Podium.” The program was not only a career-sharing session but also opened a profound narrative about the educational journey—exploring choices, commitment, and sustaining passion for the teaching profession in the context of modern education.
HUFLIT students are equipped with skills to apply for international exchange programs with the “Interxplore” program.
Recently, the Faculty of International Relations and Communication organized a Workshop on Skills for Applying to the International Exchange Program “InterXplore”, focusing on two core skills: building a professional profile and answering interviews effectively for participating students.
With two main activities, Talkshow and Workshop, the program has provided students with core skills such as building a professional profile and answering interviews effectively. Through this, students not only proactively grasp development opportunities but also confidently demonstrate their personal abilities. This is also an opportunity for students to better understand the requirements and benefits of participating in multinational programs, expanding opportunities for integration and career advancement.
The talkshow within the framework of the “InterXplore” Skills Workshop provided students with a lot of useful knowledge and practical experience about global integration. With the insightful sharing from speaker Mai Trong Hien – Director of Tao Tui Production House and speaker Vu Thi Tuan Anh – PVTrans Market Development Specialist , students not only expanded their understanding of the requirements and application process for international exchange programs but were also inspired to be more confident on their journey to conquer global opportunities.
As former students of the Faculty of International Relations & Communication of HUFLIT, the two speakers also shared their own stories of how they applied knowledge related to their majors in particular and during their time at HUFLIT in general. Through the speakers’ sharing, students not only better understood the requirements and procedures for participating in international exchange programs but also had their confidence in their own abilities awakened, ready to seize development opportunities, express their personal identity and contribute to the global community.
Next, on January 4, 2025, at the Conference Room on the 1st floor, Su Van Hanh campus, the Workshop activity of the “InterXplore” Skills Workshop took place. Here, students experienced situations to apply for international exchange programs through 3 main activities: Mock Interview and Group Practice; Group Product Presentation; Sharing and Interaction with the Jury. Students were trained and improved their presentation and teamwork skills, especially using English more fluently.
Students participating in the Workshop also listened to comments from judge Vu Thi Tuan Anh – PVTrans Market Development Specialist and judge Phan Tuong Yen – Director of Business and School Psychology System at Saigon Psychub . They practiced handling questions from real-life contexts and received direct comments from the judges, thereby helping them improve their ability to handle situations better.
With the participation of more than 400 students, the series of activities within the framework of the Workshop on Skills for Applying to the International Exchange Program “InterXplore” left a deep impression and received many positive responses from attendees. The program not only inspired students in building their personal brand but also provided them with the opportunity to experience a real interview environment. This is a stepping stone for HUFLIT students to proactively seize opportunities, confidently integrate and spread the beautiful image of Vietnam in the international arena.
