Present at the conference were comrades: Comrade Nguyễn Anh Tuấn – Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University; Comrade Phạm Thị Thanh Uyên – Vice Chair of the University Council, Vice Rector; Comrade Nguyễn Ngọc Vũ – Vice Rector; Comrade Phạm Hữu Nghĩa – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Head of the Party Committee’s Inspection Commission, together with all Party members of the Party organization and representatives of the University’s political-social organizations.
Over the past 3 years, the Party Committee has concretized, issued leadership and directive documents, and organized the implementation of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW down to each Party cell and each political-social organization, linking with the thematic focal points across the 3 years regarding studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and style.
Every year, the Party Committee issues a Resolution to guide the implementation of the academic year, wherein the content “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and style” is considered an important, top priority task within political and ideological education, serving as a driving force, inner strength to overcome difficulties and challenges, and to successfully carry out the Resolutions of higher-level Party Congresses and the Resolutions of the University’s Party Congress.
Notably, models to implement the establishment of Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space and activities during the Annual Week Commemorating the Birthday of Uncle Hồ have shown early positive results, contributing to making the thought, morality, style and cause of President Hồ Chí Minh continuously present, becoming spiritual assets and cultural values among the faculty, Party members, and staff of the University.
The quality of meetings in subordinate Party cells has been renewed in method, content, and format, contributing positively to the Party building work in politics, ideology, and organization.
Speaking at the conference, the Secretary of the Party Committee, Comrade Nguyễn Anh Tuấn, highly appreciated the results the cells and the University’s political-social organizations have achieved in implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW over the period.
In the time ahead, he requested all levels, units, and each cadre and Party member to strive to cultivate ethical qualities, linked with fulfilling assigned tasks; to make study a regular task of cells, offices, and units, to become exemplary models in studying and following the Uncle Hồ, and to properly implement the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws.
In parallel, the Party Committee proposes that the cells pay attention to developing Party members, adopting the “Four-Good Cell” model; actively complete the term goals 2020–2025 heading toward the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025–2030 term.
At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 individuals with exemplary performance in “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and style” in the 2021 – 2024 period; previously, 02 collectives and 05 individuals had received Certificates of Merit from the Party Committee of the Bloc. Simultaneously, the Party Committee honored 01 Party cell and 12 Party members for excellent completion of tasks in 2023.
