On April 13, 2023, HCMC University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology (HUFLIT) welcomed the external evaluation team from the Center for Education Accreditation – Ho Chi Minh City National University (CEA-VNUHCMC) to conduct a preliminary survey and assessment of the quality of the undergraduate programs in Accounting, International Business, and Economic Law. This preliminary evaluation aims to prepare for the official evaluation based on the quality standards set by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Attending the preliminary survey signing ceremony on the same afternoon were representatives from the Center for Education Accreditation – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, the external evaluation team, and HCMC University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology (HUFLIT).
During the preliminary survey, the external evaluation delegation provided feedback, exchanged ideas, and agreed with the university on the working principles, as well as the schedule for the official evaluation activities. They also requested additional documents and evidence.

At the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, the President of HUFLIT, expressed sincere gratitude to the external evaluation team for their attention and efforts in facilitating the evaluation of the three undergraduate programs’ quality. The university also pledged to improve the documentation and provide necessary supplementary materials, and closely cooperate to meet the external evaluation team’s requirements. HUFLIT expressed confidence that the team of experts in the upcoming official survey would offer valuable insights and recommendations to enhance the university’s quality assurance efforts.

The preliminary survey concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding among the representatives of the external evaluation team, HUFLIT and the CEA-VNUHCM.
