Igniting a passion for the performing arts with the “Chuon Chuon Giay” group
The talk show “The Stage Lighter: The Art of Theater”, organized by the Betwelve group, offered valuable insights into the skills of conceptualizing and building a stage. The program not only provided in-depth knowledge but also sparked creativity and passion in the field of stage design.
The talk show featured the traditional musical theater group “Chuồn Chuồn Giấy” (Paper Dragonfly) with three guest speakers: actors Việt Trang, Thái Duy, and Đông Hải. Chuồn Chuồn Giấy is a traditional comedy theater group founded in 2012. It was spontaneously formed by a group of young people who share a love for acting. In its early days, the group won the audience’s hearts with its lighthearted, humorous performances that conveyed deep and meaningful messages.
The speakers shared the importance of conceptualizing and structuring the stage, emphasizing that it is not merely about arranging space. Instead, it is an art that harmonizes key elements such as sound, lighting, and scenery to create a stage that is both creative and captivating. Real-world stories from these industry professionals helped students gain a deeper understanding of the creative process, from the initial idea to its realization on stage, while also offering opportunities for them to explore and develop their artistic abilities.

The talk show was divided into three parts, each focusing on essential skills in the stage-building process, offering students a deeper understanding of the field.
In the first part, the speakers provided an overview of the skills involved in conceptualizing and designing a stage, emphasizing the key elements required to create a complete stage setting, from effectively utilizing space to conveying the emotions that the stage is intended to evoke.
Next, the experts guided students through a detailed process for developing ideas and bringing them to life, helping them grasp each step involved in transforming a concept into a functional stage.
Finally, in the practical experience sharing session, the speakers recounted real stories from their careers, discussing the challenges they faced and how they overcame obstacles in the creative process. These insights offered students valuable lessons to apply to their artistic journeys.

The Q&A session of the talk show drew enthusiastic participation from the students, with many questions centered around practical concerns such as overcoming challenges when pursuing a passion for event organization, developing a personal style, and tips for building a career in the industry. The guest speakers responded thoughtfully, sharing valuable real-world insights from their professional journeys.
The talk show concluded in a vibrant and joyful atmosphere, creating memorable moments and leaving a lasting impression on all attendees. The most unforgettable part of the event was when students had the opportunity to interact directly with and take photos of the renowned speakers. The radiant smiles, warm handshakes, and souvenir snapshots became cherished memories, precious inspiration for those who share a love for theatrical arts to move forward with greater confidence in their pursuit of dreams.
