The Party Committee of HUFLIT

The Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology (HUFLIT) was established on November 9, 1994. Currently, the Party Committee comprises 12 subordinate Party cells, including 05 Faculty Party Cells; 05 Party Cells of Offices, Centers, Institutes, and the Library; and 02 Student Party Cells. The entire Party Committee has more than 150 members who possess high professional qualifications, strong political theory knowledge, and advanced academic titles and degrees. Each subordinate Party cell plays a crucial role as a political nucleus, leading and ensuring the fulfillment of the political missions of its respective unit, thereby contributing directly to the overall development of the Party Committee. The 8th Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term elected 09 members to the Party Executive Committee, including 03 members serving on the Standing Committee.

Veterans Association

Established on July 15, 2002, by the Chairman of the Veterans Association of District 10, in response to the just aspirations of the veterans who participated in activities during the resistance wars against the French and the Americans, the protection of the southwestern border, and the defense of national sovereignty over the seas and islands. The purpose of the Association is to “unite veterans, preserve and promote the traditions of ‘Uncle Ho’s Soldiers,’ and participate in safeguarding the revolutionary achievements and the Communist Party of Vietnam.” Since 2002, the Association has consistently achieved the title of “advanced transparent and resilient .” In particular, in the years 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016, the HUFLIT Veterans Association was honored with the title of “excellent transparent and resilient ” within the 487 division. In 2015 and 2016, the collective of the Association and two individual members were awarded commendation certificates by the City Veterans Association.

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of HUFLIT

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of HUFLIT is a socio-political organization of the university youth, established on January 26, 1996. The Union’s mission is to educate the youth in political ideology, revolutionary ethics, traditions, national history, culture, lifestyles, and law-abiding consciousness; to unleash the intellectual, physical, proactive, creative, and voluntary potentials of the youth; to better address the legitimate needs and aspirations of the youth; and to provide an educational and training environment for the HUFLIT youth. The Union is equivalent to a district-level youth union and has achieved outstanding results for many years in its youth union work and youth movements within the school under the City Youth Union.

The Vietnam Students' Association of HUFLIT

The Vietnam Students’ Association of HUFLIT, is a socio-political organization of the university students, operating on the principles of voluntary participation, democratic cooperation, coordination, and unity of action. The Students’ Association serves as a gathering place, fostering unity, encouragement, and assistance to its members and students in their studies, training, and fulfilling the responsibilities of being students, contributing to the development of a strong university. Additionally, it reflects the needs and aspirations of the students, organizes practical activities to care for their material and spiritual lives, and protects their legitimate and just rights and interests as members and students of HUFLIT. The Students’ Association of the university has achieved outstanding results for many years in its association work and student movements under the Ho Chi Minh City Student Union.
