Established in 1992, HUFLIT has spent more than three decades continuously refining its training ecosystem to adapt to the workforce needs of the digital age.
From its initial strength in foreign languages and informatics, HUFLIT has grown into a multidisciplinary university with 8 specialized faculties: Foreign Languages, Information Technology, Oriental Languages and Cultures, International Relations, Business Administration, Tourism – Hospitality, Economics – Finance and Law.
Students are encouraged to develop interdisciplinary thinking: solid expertise combined with two foundational tools — foreign languages and information technology — to adapt across every professional field.

Major courses taught in English
At HUFLIT, foreign languages are not a separate subject but the working language throughout the entire major program.
Students immerse themselves in a real foreign-language environment: reading specialized materials, presenting, discussing and handling academic situations directly in a foreign language — building natural language reflexes rather than “translating in their heads”.
