With the desire to provide the new students of the faculty with a healthy playground, creating opportunities for interaction and bonding through various interesting activities and games, thereby getting acquainted with the environment at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, the “Igniting the Flame” welcome program for the 2024 – 2025 academic year.
“Tiếp Lửa” is an annual program organized by the Foreign Language Department’s Youth Union and Student Association to welcome new students to the shared home of the Foreign Language Department. With this return, each Freshmen will be a unique piece with their own personalities and styles, creating a colorful and impressive Freshmen Welcome Program – marking the beginning of a new journey at the Faculty of Foreign Languages. Freshmen had the opportunity to meet and connect with new friends through group activities, where teams could bond and collaborate, enhancing the spirit of solidarity, and together overcoming the challenging tasks of the program.
The program is themed “NON SÔNG ĐẤT NƯỚC VIỆT” with the meaning of connecting new students from all over Vietnam. Starting from the activity of changing profile pictures on social media accounts, naming the teams, to the games, all are inspired by the five names of the theme “Mountain,” “River,” “Land,” “Water,” and “Vietnam.”

Overcoming the challenges at the game stations and solving the treasure hunt have helped the new students gain and learn many new knowledge and skills while participating in team work. With their spirit of playing wholeheartedly and letting loose, the Freshmen made the exchange hotter than ever with their incredibly spectacular fashion shows, combined with the enthusiastic cheers from the audience.

Through the activities of the “Tiếp lửa” Freshmen Welcome Program this time, the new students have surely made new friends and enjoyed themselves after the intense study hours in the joyful and energetic atmosphere that “Tiếp lửa” brings. Wishing the new students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages a new academic year with truly impressive academic results, always pursuing their dreams wholeheartedly, and becoming outstanding and talented students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages in particular and HUFLIT in general.
