How to apply to HUFLIT’s Programs for International Students: Not required to submit English certificate but should show intermediate level of English proficiency (~IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 500 (ITP) or 60(iBT)) in order to attend all the classes and activities throughout the exchange period.

1. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Successfully complete at least one year of full-time study at your home university.
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
  • While an English proficiency certificate is not mandatory, students should demonstrate an intermediate level of English language proficiency (approximately IELTS 6.0, TOEFL ITP 500, or TOEFL iBT 60) to actively participate in classes and activities during the exchange period as all the subjects of our exchange programs are taught in English. This requirement does not apply to the Vietnamese Language and Culture

2. PROCEDURE

Step 1 Nomination To be eligible for participating in the student exchange program at HUFLIT, you must be nominated by your institution – a HUFLIT’s partner. Not required
Step 2 Complete the application package Fill in and attach all required documents:

  • Application Form: fill in here
  • An official transcript in English
  • Copy of your passport (the biographical information page, 12 months of validity)
  • Passport-sized photos in JPG or PNG format
  • Letter of recommendation

Step 3 Submission Submit your application to the International Office of your Home Institution. Submit your application to External Relations Department, HUFLIT by email: huflit.ir@huflit.edu.vn
Step 4 Application Outcome Once your Home Institution confirms that you are selected for the program, you will receive an official notification package from HUFLIT, including:

  • An Acceptance Letter
  • General information before your arrival (Pre-departure)

3. APPLICATION DEADLINES

Application should arrive at HUFLIT by the following dates:

  • Fall Semester(September – January):  30th June
  • Spring Semester (February – June): 30th November
