Professor TRAN VAN
GIAU, People's Educator, Honorary Chair of HUFLIT's Council of
Founders was awarded the title, "Labor Hero" in 2002.

One staff member won a Labor Medal III and one Labor Medal II. Several
staff and faculty members have been awarded medals for the cause of
international relations, for the cause of education, for the happiness
of people with visual disabilities, for the cause of the Labor Union,
for organizing and developing Communist Units, for the cause of
culture ideology. Besides, many others have received certificates of
merit by the Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Culture
and Media, Central Hochiminh Communist Youth Union, Vietnamese Student
Union, Vietnamese Informatics Association, Height Command of Military
Zone 7, the People's Committee of Hochiminh City and other provinces, etc.
Some have been awarded medals of "Youth Creativeness", "January Star",
"Three-deed student", etc.
