We aim at educating and training the students to be skillful in a career following the tradition "A Jack of all trades is the master of none," to have the spirit of patriotism, to be aware of preserving the national cultural values, to strive for the cause of "making the people prosperous, the nation powerful, and the society a just, democratic, and civilized," to be able to think creatively and apply theory into practice well, to have good foreign language skills and good computer skills, to be able to organize and handle their work successfully, to have a sense of studying in their whole life so as to improve their professional skills and to obtain training for new careers which have just appeared in the process of industrialization, modernization and approaching the knowledge-based economy.
